The Rarity-Desirability Valuation (RDV) System is a system used by this wiki to compare the overall market value of different cards. By using this system we can provide our readers with a simple way of determining how valuable a card is. This system pertains solely to market value and not play value; however, it is influenced by play value.

Note: Rating all the cards is still a work in progres.

The RDV is calculated based on a simple formula:

Rarity * Desirability = Value

Desirability is a scale of 1-5 and is largely influenced by a card's play value.

With Rarity being defined in the table below:

Rarity Multiplier
Common 1
Uncommon 2
Rare 3
Ultra-Rare 4
Promo 5

The resulting Value can range from 1-25 and is then represented using PvP rank badges.

NOTE-Cards tend to decline rapidly in price if they are in one of the decks that you can buy for 500points,eg shaman went from 1000 points to 60 in a matter of days.
