The Rocket Tower is a two orb fire tower, operating similarly to the one orb makeshift tower. The rocket tower has a long range of 40m, meaning it can outrange many other towers, only outranged by a Mortar Tower with Upgrade I and some siege units like Fire Stalker, Firedancer and Spitfire.
The Rocket Tower fires up to 3 rockets at 3 different targets in its range, increasing to 4 and 5 rockets at Upgrade I and II, respectively (This is the only change at UI and UII). Each rocket does 85 damage, a step up from the Makeshift Tower's 30, and, like Makeshift, knocks back small units, but also knocks back medium units. This makes the Rocket Tower a very useful defensive asset in mid-game.
