Overview
Description[]
Corpse Explosion is a spell card that turns the corpses of dead creatures into damage. The main use is when the chips are down and it's time to retreat or abandon the attacking force. When cast before losing the last few units, this last-ditch effort can often obliterate both sides of the battle.
To maximize the damage output, cast this after another area-effect damage spell that is guaranteed to kill off some of the opponent's creatures. Also, this is very effective when played after some of the player's own frenzied creatures expire. Better yet, if power is available, cast Infect, and guarantee that you'll have some fresh soldiers when the enemy falls.
Because enemies have three seconds to run away prior to the explosion, it is useful to combo Ensnaring Roots or similar to hamper or stop their movement.
